However, I'm the boss so I can spec my work laptop to run a few games here and there - so I was wondering.

It's mostly network stuff (using Linux), emails and spreadsheets. It seems that all the laptops that tickle my fancy do not come with a Ryzen option, else I'd go with that.įurthermore, if the laptop of my choice came with a dedicated gpu (MX 350 / 450), would that weigh in? Now with gen11 out in the field for long enough to have sufficient hands on experience, I'd like to inquire about how much better they are compared to gen 10. Apparently, the Ryzen mops the floor with the Intels and they seem to have high power consumption and a heat problem. What I heard through the interwebz is that 10th gen Intel has a bad reputation.
